It's SPRING !!

A hush is over everything, Silent as women wait for love;

The world is waiting, for the spring.

Been quite busy last week, so I haven't had the chance to update any new blog posts.

" I'm sorry "

Well, GOOD NEWS for all foreign scholars studying abroad in Nizhny Novgorod!

It's finally SPRING !!!

I arrived Nizhny Novgorod on 27th march 2011, which I still recalled the chillness once I stepped out of the plane. Heavy snow for the next couple of weeks, and ices everywhere which cracked my ass few times when I slipped due to spurious footwear I brought from Malaysia. By then the temperature was approximately 0 degree celcius, and now it finally increased till the point which I'm satisfied with it. ( 17 degrees celcius )

The ices by the roadside melted, I wouldn't have to worry about the glistening path.
The snows on building's roofs melted too, I wouldn't have the torment of snow falling on me again.
Leaves and grasses began to grow, the botak trees now silhouetted with a charming green.

It's my first Spring in Russia. Fell in love with it all the sudden.

Will upload some photos soon.

Spiritual leader, Criminal mastermind. DEAD

Osama Bin Laden
"Osama Bin Laden, the criminal mastermind behind al-Qaeda and the world's most sought-after terrorist since the attacks of 11 September 2001, has been killed by a US operation, President Barack Obama has announced.

In an address to the nation, President Obama said Bin Laden was killed in a "targeted operation" in Abbottabad, a highland town north of Islamabad, last night." (source from http://www.guardian.co.uk)

The world's most wanted terrorist, or should I say the American's most wanted terrorist, is dead. After the announcement, the states blew into party and thousands of joyous americans celebrated in front of the White House. Bidding goodbye to the man who was accused to be the mastermind behind the 911 incident 10 years ago. So, have the hatred of americans towards Osama ceased after this? Will the authorities of the White House stop the ordered bombings and killings in Pakistan and Afganistan just for this man? Well, we shall see.

Oh yeah, and Obama just won the 2012 election today :)

Some facts from (http://www.ajc.com) :

- Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler killed himself on April 30, 1945, and his death was announced May 1. Osama bin Laden was killed May 1, 2011.

-- Within two hours of the announcement that bin Laden was dead, more than 145,000 people had joined a Facebook group called "Osama bin Laden is dead 5/1/11."

-- 899 people were following the fake Twitter account @binladen at 1 a.m. Monday, but that number was increasing after news of bin Laden's death. Among the tweets from the fake account early Monday: I'm not dead, just a little busy at the moment.
--  University of Georgia students gathered early Monday near the famous arch to celebrate bin Laden's death as the chapel bell rang in the background.
--  The U.S. believes bin Laden's son was also killed Sunday.
-- bin Laden was killed 3,519 days after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the U.S.
-- The compound where bin Laden was living had walls 12-18 feet high, with barbed wire at the top, a top U.S. official said. There was no telephone or Internet service.
-- bin Laden was 54 years old.

Ritual to greet spring !

If you're from Nizhny Novgorod, you would've probably cracked what I'm referring to.

Well. If you're not, then perhaps a quick guess before looking at the contents below?

Hold your horses! I knew you wouldn't even bother to think.
Do you?

Okay okay. The ritual is to Barbeque! It's been a healthy trend for all foreign students here to barbeque once the weather is warm enough. And with my fellow basketball squad members, we decided to organize a small barbeque party on Saturday noon.

Some marinated chickens and Sausages.
Our world champion fighter, Jefferey Lee trying to raise fire just by using his palms? oops.
Malaysian scholars barbeque-ing together under a small shelter after an unexpected drift of rainfall.

Shouldn't be writing much as I'm having my Anatomy's control test this coming Tuesday about skulls, which is supposed to be the most complicated chapter. Make the photos tell the story.

Nights people!

Checkmate! Kate, you took the King!

To be honest, I haven't been aware about the Royal Wedding previously until posts and comments flooded my Facebook home page 2 days ago. Since I just started blogging again yesterday, I really shouldn't miss the oppurtunity to gibber a little.

Catherine Middleton has indeed brought fairytales to real life. Showing the world how a girl, a normal girl who grew up in a village name Chapel Row, in Bucklebury met Prince Charming since 2001 and got married on 29th April 2011 witnesses by billions of people worldwide. Being titled as Duchess of Cambridge by Queen Elisabeth, Status modified from Fiancee of Prince William to Wife of Prince William in Wikipedia,  Catherine Middleton is now officially a member of the most respected and honored Royal Family of Britain.

It might seemed to be a gorgeous, felicitous and blessed wedding to all others, but people should understand how much burden and pressure to be withstand by Kate alone. Getting married to a Prince in the 21st century doesn't make you happily ever after, in fact you'll have to keep the clean and pure image of the Royal Family carefully.

But, still,
Well done Kate!

Back as a Blogger again!

Yes, I am back as a Blogger that I used to be (quited about a year ago) and this would be my new blog. My so called "Dead blog" is still viewable but I will not update any new posts on that old page anymore.
Take note peeps!

The reason I started blogging again isn't because studying medicine is drudging and life in Russia is mundane and lifeless as ever. As a matter of fact, I blog to share my views, my life, my stories, my lame jokes and my photographs. Hoping that this would at least boost my photographing skills and keep my stories subsisting for the next few decades of my life.

Updating soon.
